Well, I finally sat down and made one! Map should be coming soon.

Map of the Village:
History
In ages past, powers have risen and fallen, and some have gained recognition for conquering New York entirely. Well not entirely… one small village of indomitable Gauls held out against the invaders. After many failed attempts, these powers decided to leave the Gauls alone, and this village was eventually forgotten.
Until recently however, when Chief Vitalstatistix was the first in the village to have the bright idea to actually see what was happening beyond the village. Since then, the Gauls have been catching up with world events and participating in regional politics, even if their village has remained more or less the same for hundreds of years.
Inhabitants
Overall, the inhabitants of the village are much like their forefathers so many centuries ago. Below are some of the inhabitants:
And here they are participating in a major village hobby:
When not brawling, feasting or working, nearby pirates are often beaten up. The villagers are religious and follow Gaulish polytheism.
Now for some important characters:
Chief Vitalstatistix:
Chief of the Gaulish village, Vitalstatistix usually runs the day-to-day affairs when not having disagreements with his overbearing wife Impedimenta. Likes to wade around the village carried by his shield bearers. Generally well liked, and says that the only thing he fears is the sky falling on his head.
Asterix
Small, smart and crafty, Asterix is usually sent out on errands and adventures by Vitalstatistix when the village has a problem. Reasonably strong for his size. Often accompanied by his best friend Obelix.
Obelix and Dogmatix:
Obelix is Asterix’s best friend, and often joins him on his adventures. The strongest warrior in the village due to falling in the cauldron of magic potion when he was a baby. When not off adventuring or eating (roast boar most of the time), he works as a menhir sculptor.
(center) Dogmatix is Obelix’s dog and constant companion. Obelix almost refuses to leave the village without him. Doesn’t like it when someone knocks down a tree.
Getafix:
The village druid and the wisest person in the village, Getafix is responsible for creating the village’s potion of super-strength, which allowed them to resist invasion in ages past. Known ingredients include mistletoe (cut with his golden sickle), lobster and beetroot juice. However, Getafix knows some other recipes as well, such as a hair growth potion.
Cacofonix:
The village bard. The village’s opinions about him are split. He thinks he’s fantastic, while the rest disagrees. However, so long as he doesn’t sing, the village appreciates him.
Other figures include Unhygenix the fishmonger, Fulliautomatix the blacksmith (responsible for 89% of all village brawls by claiming Unhygenix’s fish stink) and Geriatrix the village elder.
Major exports
Fish, wild boar and menhirs
Major imports
Beetroot
